GSRA is an open association!

The GSRA is one of the oldest street rod associations in the USA, having been formed in 1976. The GSRA promotes the car hobby in general and is open to all walks of life. All you need is a healthy interest in automobiles. You don't have to even own a car!! Spouses and significant others are welcome at our all our events. In fact many spouses run the 50/50 drawings and participate in the swap meet. Without spousal support the GSRA would not run as smoothly.

A couple things that make us different...we do not have a cut off date for our events, like some rod associations. Our members have all sorts of automobiles - stocks, rods, trucks, motorcycles, and customs. All are welcome to come check us out.

Welcome Dan Chelko!  If we started using this Comment capacity on SE Wheels Events as a club, we would significantly improve our communications.   I know many members don't yet feel comfortable with computers and the Internet, but I think its here to stay :-)  Let's get as many using it as possible!  Mike 770-883-0160 (if I can help with anything)

Well worth joining this group. Excellent monthly meeting and Richard Torch is a very active president. Thanks Ken

This year www.southeastwheelsevetns.com is sponsoring a unique project and I think most of you will enjoy a glimpse of the man with the brains behind it. Bob Sarda is working on a project to be the fasted man on steam powered wheels in a 1972 Honda!  Check out his Blog!  It is real good reading! http://southeastwheelsevents.com/profiles/blogs/bonneville-salt-fla...

PS Bob is a modest sort, in spite of his ambition. He will tell you he is not a graduate engineer, but a graduate Soap Box Derby kid! :-)
