Linda and I just returned from Chryslers at Carlisle with our 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. We stayed at a great B&B called the Red Cardinal Inn (great people). After leaving Carlisle we headed to the Jersey Shore spending a day/night on the boardwalk in Wildwood. It was fun reminising back to our teen days. We then spent some time in Cape May before taking the Ferry on over to Lewes, DE. Stopping in Lewes, Rehobeth, Ocean City, Chincoteque was a blast. We then trecked over the Cheasapeake Bay/Bridge through Norfolk and Virginia Beach before spending a day in Nags Head on the Outer Banks. From there we headed to Ocracoke Island where we relaxed for two days. Our final destination taking the Ferry across Pamilco Sound to Cedar Island, stopping in Morehead to eat at a favorite eatery (Sanitary Fish Market). Finally driving on through Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, past Camp Lejune (Semper Fi Marines) and then taking a dive into the ocean at Wrightsville Beach. Just under 1700 miles with top down, what a great trip.
