The Georgia Cool Cruisers Sponsored “Cars for a Cause” at the Pink Pony on Saturday, November 4. As car club opened to all makes, models and ages, GCC raises money for local and national charities, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends and Frukids.
Prizes were give for the best individual costume,the best couple in costume and best decorated car. Among the most unusual costumes John Carpenter as Elvis; Martika as Wonder Woman; Stephanie Williams as a black cat: Victoria Willetts wearing a costume from the James Bond movie, “Diamonds Are Forever”; Greg Talbott in Americana attire; and Theresa and Joe Lynch as the Prom King and Queen.
Among those having the most fun were several Furkids rescue dogs, including Doc, the Black Lab mixand Star the Cockapoo with Laura Purcell, a Furkids volunteer.
