SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (September 11, 2012) – Many incredible Ferraris will be on display in the Gardens of Thanksgiving Point during the Intermountain Concours d’Elegance in Lehi, Utah on Saturday, September 22, 2012. “Some of the most desirable models ever built have been entered in the Ferrari class at our event and we’re very excited for the public to see them,” said Chris Purdum, Intermountain Concours Chairman. While the event will feature many other high-caliber pre-war and post-war collector cars and exotics, the Ferrari class is certain to capture the attention of all ages and is always a favorite.
Maranello has been cranking out incredible Italian machines for decades, and each model is a work of art all its own. There are several models which have become favorites among collectors and enthusiasts such as the F40, with swooping lines and recognizable rear spoiler. Utah’s own Steve Harris Imports will be displaying a pristine example as well as a Ferrari 312 race car. The Mallya Collection which houses an incredible array of collector cars in both India and the San Francisco Bay Area will be displaying the ever popular Ferrari California Spyder, valued at well over $1,000,000.00.
“We can’t give away all the surprises, but we have many incredible Ferraris and word has it we might have an Enzo on the green as well,” shares Purdum with a big grin. “People are going to have to just show up to see all the spectacular cars that have registered and been accepted to display at this event, and by doing so they will be helping us to support our soldiers through our charities; Fisher House Salt Lake City and the Chance Phelps Foundation.”
