I wrote this article last year for our club newsletter. I thought I would put it out here for all to see. It is a great show, and a lot of fun. The Mopars are the best, they have a great swap meet, car corral and just a great show. I am going again this year and would love to see more people from other Mopar clubs there.

Run 4 the Sun Cruise to Ocala

By Linda Fraschilla, newbie to the NGMC (so far it's been awesome!!!)
My first trip as a NGMC member was to Ocala ... we all met at Summit Racing at 7:30 am, a bit early. I got to see some of the cars that were caravanning with us, and they are beautiful cars. We left at 8:00, with an escort of 4 motorcycle police, now that was awesome, I was so excited and it was amazing to see behind me all the cars following us and of course to see the cars stopped on the road in respect of us, that's how I like to refer to it. They took us to the highway and off we went into the morning sun. I just can't express the excitement I was feeling in anticipation of getting to Ocala to see all the cars. Each stop we made along the way, it seemed we picked up another car. We did indeed pick up more cars in Valdosta. We lined up along the highway so we could start the caravan again, WOW!!!! ... all those cars ... so we got to Ocala. The next day I set out early to start my trek through a sea of cars. Another WOW!!! ... What I loved and admired the most was the passion and camaraderie of everyone. People were so proud of their cars, and being it was so new to me, I now have a true understanding of a MOPAR car!!!! ... how people was dusting, waxing and looking forward to someone coming up to them to ask about their car or just to comment how cool their car was. Also everyone was so friendly; I did make a couple of new friends along the way. I also learned about the Swap Meet, one man's junk is another man's treasure ... Whew ... I also strolled through the "For Sale" Car Corral ... I wanted to write a check right then and there ... LOL ... Alii can say is that I was in tota/awe and loved every minute it. I was sort of Star Stuck you could say.
I went back on Sunday to see the new bunch of cars come in, and I was still in awe, I have to say one was better then the other.
Alii can say is I can't wait till the next big show, and I hope one day I will have the car of my dreams!!!!!. ....
Ride on!!!!! I am very proud to be a part of such a great group of folks ....
