The Po Boy Cruise In at Canton GA was a nice surprise. The show had a good variety of cars Corvettes, antiques, classics and exotics. The sun was shining and there was a good turnout of spectators and car club members not only Keith, Geoff and the rest of the Po Boys,  I also met members of the Creepers, Dixie Olds and of course the GSRA. It is great to see other clubs supporting other events. Of course the $5.00 entry fee doesn’t hurt either. The Po Boy’s Cruise In is every 3^rd Saturday, it’s worth the drive to help the cause and meet some new friends. For More Information Click Here

StreetSide Classics will be holding their 4^th Saturday Coffee and Donuts 9 am to 12.  I always love going to StreetSide Classics and wandering around the inside air conditioned garage and checking out 350 o the most beautiful classic cars I have ever seen, From Alfa Romero to VW, they got it all. Our feature, car of the week, comes from one of our members Steven Beauregard He writes: For sale is my 34 Coupe. I have owned it for 15 years. It is a driver, not a show car, although I have won many trophies at local shows. Has 24,000 miles on it. Fiberglass body and custom frame. Chopped top. Suicide doors. Mustang II front end. Chevrolet 350 with a polished 6:71 blower and Enderle Bugcatcher with F.A.S.T. EFI. 8.8 Ford posi reared. 4 wheel power disc brakes. Cragars SS wheels all around. Almost new tires. gets 14 MPG if driven sensibly. This car is beautiful and fun to drive. Rack and pinion steering (chrome). Turbo 350 trans just rebuilt. Lokar shifter. Power deck lid. Shaved handles. Custom crocodile leather interior from Tims Auto Upholstery in Duluth. This car has never been on a trailer.

WE have less than 30 Days before the B3 Rockabilly Car Show. Truthfully, it’s a   more than a car show, live bands and maybe the Budweiser Truck parked in the driveway is a clue but we are going to have a good time! I have been to many family friendly car shows but,  for the B3 Rockabilly, go ahead, get that babysitter, ask grandma to watch the kids, its date night.  Its a little country, a little Southern and I promise we will be dancing, singing and having a great time.  I hope to see you there.

My buddy Mike started South East Wheels Events, one handshake at a time, one member at a time, one event at a time, and it seems every day we add members and we add events, it is awesome and humbling at the same time. If you know an event that is not posted, please post it or let me know.  You will be doing a favor for the guy 20 miles away in the next town, who is looking for a car or bike show to participate in but has not gotten the flyer or word of mouth. We are a members website, no dues, we are here for one reason, to serve. I appreciate each and every one of you, Thank you for letting me be a part of this sport.
